| DESCRIPTION: | Itromed soap contains Itraconazole, an antifungal drug to eliminate fungal infections. It is prescribed for prevention of fungal infection of the entire body skin. It is used as a regular bathing soap during active treatment and thereafter for one month for prevention, after cure of infection. It should otherwise not be used as a regular bathing soap under normal circumstances. |
| SIDE EFFECTS: | Generally considered safe for topical use as directed. |
| DOSAGE/DIRECTIONS FOR USE: | First wet the affected skin area. Gently rub the soap to create a lather, leave it on for 2-3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Always follow your doctor’s specific instructions regarding frequency and duration of use, and avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes. |
