Mupiheal Ointment

Description

Mupiheal Ointment 15gm is used to treat localized skin infections, such as impetigo (crusty sores), infected hair follicles, and minor wounds that have become red and painful. It is highly effective at killing the bacteria that common “first-aid” creams might miss. This ointment is a reliable way to stop a small skin infection from spreading to other parts of the body or other people.

This medication contains Mupirocin, a unique antibiotic. It works by blocking the specific enzyme that bacteria need to build their proteins. Without these proteins, the bacteria cannot survive or reproduce. Because it works differently than most antibiotics, it is often effective against “tough” germs like MRSA (resistant staph).

Clean and dry the area before applying a small amount of ointment, usually three times a day. You can cover the area with a bandage if needed. Continue using the ointment for the full duration prescribed, even if the skin looks better, to ensure all the bacteria are gone.
