| DESCRIPTION: | Wintex injections contain Ceftriaxone, a third generation cephalosporin that acts via breaking the cell wall of the bacteria. It is prescribed as a first line of defense in majority of the cases requiring injections. |
| SIDE EFFECTS: | The main side effects with Ceftriaxone are pain, indurations and tenderness at the site of injection; others are rash, disturbances in white blood cell count, diarrhea & liver enzyme elevations. |
